hi,

just a quick update.

the beer server is having issues as of late and i've removed dns entries for it. i've got a dedicated server in the uk and it's called "jd.devhat.net"

beer's dns will now revole like the irc dns to jd and pete. when i find kentaree and maybe sometime in feb, the beer server might disappear.

also

there's a new room on the network #shmup ideal for anyone entering the competition or wish to talk to the other people entering.

so to reiterate:
use pete.devhat.net or jd.devhat.net currently!

beer issues should be resolved tomorrow. and if i can find kentaree i will link pete directly to jd.

I think the translation is as follows:

1. Something broke
2. We don't know how to fix it just yet
3. We're not even sure what it looks like...whatever it is.
4. Somebody else has got one the same, we're gonna use that.
5. We have a spare wire that will eventually plug into something somewhere and something might start working again.

LOL i think you got it right there

ok after doing a few traceroute's to beer's server the problem is located on the usa side.

from uk ircd to us ircd > 13th hop died.
from us ircd to uk ircd > 3rd hop died.

there's nothing i can do with this issue. it should fix itself but cant giva ETA

It's really quite insulting to have chanserv kick you from a channel because nickserv is dead -_- (or something similar...) #C++ is my home!

Appollogies =). ChanServ went abit crazy, but as far as I can see #C++ is functioning okay now, *picks neo up, and puts him back in the pond/#c++*.
