If you have a website such as the ones I sell (www.SpidaHost.com) then you can install Simple Machines Forum which is a fantastic piece of free forum software!

Yes , but that is kind of just it , it`s used by maaany people , why is that bad ? - no idea ... i don`t know , i would just like a simple forum , but that has "forums" in it (egz : Programming , Gaming ...-not really what i would put..) , and A gradient background for categories , titles , etc.

If you want sign like this with your name on it , just mail me or send me icq message.

here's a site you might find helpful..

http://www.opensourcecms.com

They have many different forum solutions in which you can try before you... install!!

I personally don't like phpbb, but that's because phpbb is the most popular one and I've seen it just too many times. I've used phpbb off and on for years on different boards, and I personally believe that the "golden age" of phpbb is over.

I really like simple machines forum. In my humble opinion, I feel that SMF rocks!! SMF is easy to install, and easier to mod. If you want to install a mod for SMF, all you do is download it and click the install button. There's no need to edit files, like with phpbb. Another problem with phpbb, because of it's popularity, is that it's usually exploited and hacked the most. With any forum software, you really have to keep it updated to prevent harmful exploitations.

I use PHP-Nuke with phpBB, and it was rather easy to get going in the admin panel. Here's a crummy CMS: Mambo. It's buggy beyond all reasonable belief, especially if you try to get forums on there.

I'm going to eat you!

SMF leagues ahead of every other BB on the market and its completely free! You can even get a MOD called Tiny Portal to convert the forum into a complete website like mine at StuffITall.com.
