Just wondering. Can you make your own ringtones? Can you make a site to download ringtones. If we can't, Why can't we? How do they stop us just copying a ringtone? Sounds easy....

Just one of those things that I have wondered about.

I've never used the polyphonic ring tones. I went straight from the rubbish old skool phones to the digital audio ones. They kinda defeat the point of ring tones. Now I just make MP3s of whatever I want and stick them on my phone via USB or blue tooth. I think the polyphonic style ring tones are on the way out now most new phones are MP3 capable.

My phone is MP3 compaitble it better be for 193USD after tax.....its the sprint's "Blade" rip off of the Razor, but you'd think they'd come up with a better name then "blade".....

Im sure if you googled "Ring tone making" or something like that you'd get something.

I just download MP3's to my phone it even comes with headphones for it but its not the standard jack so i can't put sony headphones in it...the headphones suck anyhow...but good sound.

But what stops us from making our own ringtones? i have no idea....

most polyphonic ringtones are just midi files anyway so yeaah you can make them and there are loads of sites to downlado them I only use mp3s on my phone now anyway

I've never actually had a mobile phone, I was just curious.
