I need an honest, mature (21+ or over) person to finish my work in progress.

I just don't have the time anymore to finish the code, juggling work and family is time consuming, and it's a shame because it's looking quite hot at the moment!

It's a retro remake of C64 BRUCE LEE except you can have as many Yamos and Ninjas on the screen as you like! The AI is there, the sprites are there, the sound is there... the only thing that is not there are the full number of screens and 2 player code.

Would anyone care to have the Source code & graphics for this project (DarkBasic Pro). ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE TIME TO FINISH THE CODE QUALIFY TO GET IT.

Please don't ask me for the source just so you can "have a look" - you will be ignored.

Serious enquiries from experienced developers ONLY, please.

Email me at my PM address. Cheers

Likewise.

Going to show any progress at all? Mods don't look down on stuff like this well.

"Mods don't look down on stuff like this" what?

I'm not selling a product, I want someone to take my hard work and finish it. [EDIT: To sell for FREE.] Otherwise, it's [been] a complete waste of my time.

If you want screenshots, here they are...

And a final screenshot...

[EDIT: This picture shows that the Green Yamo climbs and chases Bruce of his own accord. I can supply a video, if required, that demonstrates the AI in action.]

Well that's better. Was it that hard to include them in your original post?

Most of us have plenty of unfinished projects already.

Ahhh Bruce Lee. Twas a classic. I had it for my sperry 7mhz cga pc. Was it actually completable? cause I seem to remember getting my ass whooped by some invincible git near the end.

Anyways nice work.

The C64 version of Bruce Lee was indeed completable, but you had to do all of the screens 10 times before it ended!!!

It's a shame that this code is going to rot. Usually I don't leave things unfinished . I'll be honest, I'm not inclined to spend anymore time on it as it's written in DarkBasic, and I was getting frustrated with the limits of the language itself (not the 3D functions, which are great)

I just bought the Dark SDK and hoped to rewrite it in C++ but once again time constraints got me...

Hi. Thsi is my fisrts post on this site ever. I have a great...err...good idea for a 2d rpg-type game. I have about 700 lines of dialogue written, and I have successfully created about 60 tiles on my own and a map loader with a collision detection system in Dark Basic in the last 2 weeks, and I would now like help developing it. Both programmers and tile creators would be greatly appreciated. I need help in the areas of battle and item/equipping systems especially. If you are willing to help, please e-mail me at [email protected]. Thank you.
