For all those apache fans out there... You know if you have a directory with "Indexes" enabled (eg, Options +Indexes in the .htaccess file), you can control how this look by modifying certain apache files. Now design is one of my weaker area's (I'm about as artistic as 3 blind hedgehogs... in a bag) so I'm wondering if anyone knows of any pretty themes to make it look better? I THINK that The Fedora Project site uses this method to index their download pages, eg:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/4/i386/iso/

Any idea's? I've found XPIndex which uses php, however this does not rely on the +Indexes option being set. It relies on there not being a directory index file (like index.html or index.php) in that folder. You have to add the XPIndex file (index.php) into the search path for index files. This means if index.php/html doesn't exist in your folder it will defaultly list the contents using XPIndex's theme... Looks nice though, eg: http://www.hompus.nl/xpindex/download/

Don't know of any themes, but it should be easy enough to change.

Literally just change the icons, or edit the config file.

But i'm no good at design either, sorry

Yeah I've played with it before, but seeing as its so "easy" to do - I assumed there must be a resource out there for theming them... Might do a little work on it and make it part of my site?!... So nobody knows of anywhere?

Phaelax - It could be done easily using PHP. I'm aware there are methods of doing it - however, the issue is, as I said earlier, that:

I might have a play and see what I can make in my spare time... Which is next to nothing nowadays!
