*Randomness*

Something terrible happened 1 night ago, i had lost my big book'o numbers

Anyway, off I went in a quest to search for this magical book of mine, finding it luckily before it fell into the wrong hands ^-^.

Vowed never to let this happen again i created a small program to help store those numbers in a safer place where i could never lose them =D

http://www.hybridwolves.co.uk/downloads/blackbook.zip
Download if u want it's about 172 KB made in Visual Basic 6.0.

That’s cool, I could do with something like that which stored addresses, emails, IM's and everything else all in one place.

Tip based upon experience: If you leave a diary behind in a pub with personal landmarks in it, don't go and pick it up even if the reason you lost it was to write down a phone number you lusted over the previous night - not only will the landlord be fully conversent with the contents, but the regulars will also raise a glass to you...

Soooo embarassed.

Josh -> Well if any of you want anything changed / add'd to it just give a yell

Becky -> I can top the most embaressing moments but due to this being a family forum i don't think i can tell that story
DarkBasic MAD -> *Pats him on the head*

Exeat -> I loved the show "Black Books" it's one of the classics

OOooo, reminds me of the first time I got the idea to create my own "black book" from a classic commedy whom i hope many of you love and know. "Cheers" where everyone knows your name

http://www.cheersboston.com<-- this site has the intro

It has got to be the BEST comedy i've ever seen.

I don't have a little black book.

I have a comprehensive collection of multi-million paged porn bibles entitled "Conquests Volumes 1-500". Oh yeah. I'm a stud.

nice, app, i think a password would come in handy tho, even better, a password along with a set of security questions, where it randomly pics one ot ask you just in case someone gets ur password. I use a shared computer and would prefer it so that other people dont get a hold of my black book

Fallout -> Reminds me of cruel Intentions, now that was a good movie

re faze -> VB 6 is alrite i guess, but it has it's advantages and dissadvantages.

Mattman -> Cannot Say i've ever heard of a t.v. show named wings

DBM -> Thanks, I dunno what to start workn on next though maybe a program to teach people how to mix drinks... or something.

TDP -> Three options for the "security"

1.)place it somewhere in the computer where you can only find it.

2.) I could make ye one that also hides / encodes the data files, with of course a login menu with a default user name and password which can be changed within the admin panel.

3.) Use winzip to password protect the black book

*Think i anwsered every1...*
