At the moment soon as i create an exe instead of having the dbpro pyramid logo it has this weird one i attched a picture of a shortcut i made to a dbpro program from my desktop.

But whats really annoying is even if you set your own icon it starts as the annoying icon and after the program has loaded it changes back to the one you want, and even in explorer or desktop shortucuts it still has the annoying icon.

ive tried searching for the icon in explorer then deleting it but i cant find it.

Any help?

1. Make sure it's in your games directory
2. Don't delete the dbp icon it'll break dbp
3. Isn't that the fpsc icon?

its not the problem getting the icon to appear in the exe it just starts as the one i attached on previouse post then changes to the correct one. If i were to make a shortcut to my program on my desktop it would have that annoying icon instead of my one!

I didnt try and delete the dbpro logo i tryed to delete the one i attched

please help its so annoying

You mean the arrow on the icon?? If so, use tweak UI for windows xp (if thats what you have) that'll get rid of the arrows on all of you icons.

Ok basically my program will not have the icon i want on it untill the program is running after that it will change to the annoying icon. So if you were to veiw it in explorer it would have the wrong icon

Probably be best to use an icon editor to edit the icon within the exe itself. If im not mistaken there are 3 icons that are embedded.
One 32x32 and two 16x16 of different bit depths.

done it.

paint cna edit icons but it is hard i just use an icon maker

If the icon you refer to is the blue rounded square with the target line drawing, it is the default for the 5.9 version of dbp, instead of the usual pyramid. As long as I recall, the latest-latest version of 5.9 has the usual icons again as default.
You can easily change that, by using a resource editor, as resourcehacker, PE editor, or any similar program.

By the way, it is the FPS icon too.
