I'm not online enough at the moment to really read even a small fraction of what's going on right now. I know what TGC themselves are up to, but I have no idea what's new in the world of the community.

So what is happening out there? Anything major happening that just seems to have passed me by?

I know that I have some fairly major things that need to come to light soon.. hopefully being away for around 3months hasn't ment nothing has happened with any of you guys (and gals) though.

Nout. Dark bleak winter is all. Cancel out that well bright sun outside at the minute as a one off though..... back to cleaning chimneys.....

Oh, and hows it going Raven?

Cheers

Ps. Actually my main PC has become a complete mare. So I just bought a new one. Spending the day backing everything up. Couldn't be bothered sourcing a free plug for my 300gb portable drive (use about 18 in this corner at the minute, and am a bit wary after shorting out my bedroom the other day with my iron), so am backing up to my iPod (useful) after my backup decent PC decided to also bite the dust a bit (really shouldn't have messed about with it's memory and plugging in clashing internal memory card readers - and it's too cold to go out to the shed to get a screwdriver....)

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Well, I finally got an SE job at EA (almost ended up moving to Montreal at the *other* big game company but changed my mind), I moved to a condo, and.... that's about it.

As for this forum--- it's the same stuff like always. There aren't many new people that I can think of mentioning.

Raven --- Are you ever going to get on MSN one of these day?

Nope. Nout. Means nothing. Actually not a real word, and totally unsure on how to spell it. Northern people tend to say it. eg. "Nout wrong with that lass, now get me a cup of gravy or expect a bunch of fives". Northern lads love gravy (subtle football link there - the very popular beautiful game, rather than that one thats like rugby but where you wear kevlar body armour)....

Cheers

How's that pronounced? Like the ou in 'ouch'? Never heard anyone say it ever before. Of course, this is a drastically different area.

Nope it's like Exeat said, 'n' as none 'ou' as in ouch and the 't' sound as in shout. actualy replace the 'sh; in shout with a 'n' sound and you got it.
Yeah northen boys do love their gravy..on their chips, their breakfast, their women...and so forth.

"Hovis .... there's nout taken out" as the whole-grain bread advert used to say on tele.

Of course, all these northern monkies with their pies and chips and gravy are considered to have one of the worst diets in the world. This is probably why Mel Gibson felt sorry for them and made Braveheart.

I always thought it was Nowt to, but meh..
Sounds like some people have had an interesting holiday season.

I've been up to a few things, main one is the new job. Thing is I'm still moving about; so until I stop, no internet at home
This site needs a wap or something for the forum

Hopefully will be staying at my dad's next weekend, to sort out a-lot of stuff that I was suppose to have done like 2months ago for TGC; but oh well, eh? I'm sure no one is particularly on the edge of thier seat for certain upgrades, and patches.

Cool to see that the hot topics of conversation are as foundation shaking as ever. I've got quite a bit of news I want to post up to everyone, cause I'm damn'd excited about it; but want to wait until it's official.

I would have taken your word for it if you hadn't spelt "too" wrong
