HA im back on the forum for a while...finally tore myself away from IRC...Everyone should wish me luck as i am enganged to a beautiful woman...

So if anyone has words of wisdom they should drop by #lobby on the DarkBASIC irc network (irc.devhat.net) and wish me and my fiance good luck...or post them here...

for those that dont know me im an old forum member and operator on IRC, i used to make wild promises as a noob and then grew up a little...

Seriously. Don't. You will find that suddenly, almost magically, your free time will be sucked away, amalgamated with her free time. Do you know what women love to do with their spare time? Shop for purses and shoes. Since it's your free time too, she'll want you to come help her pick them out.

If you want to keep your sanity, then don't do it.

P.S. - I've been married for 1.5 years and it's been 100% worth it---- so please disregard my free time speech and have fun :-P

Well, I'm a firm believer in not getting married until you can provide properly for your family. And seeing as my short term wishlist includes a Skyline R34 GT-R, a new RC, a 40+" LCD tele, a new place and a few other crazy expensive things, I won't be getting married for some years yet.

But seriously, if there's one thing I've learnt from all you married chaps out there is DO NOT get married and have kids until you've done everything you want to do and bought all your toys. Once the family is on its way, you ain't gonna be getting your Skyline!

Here's crossing my fingers I don't find my soulmate until I'm 30.

... which is actually a dilemma in itself. Do I really want to hope for that?

... here's hoping my soulmate has no maternal urges nor desire for married until I'm 30. Yeah, I'm happy with that.

Shes learning PHP right now and she admins her sisters website for her business...her free isnt looking for puruses and shoes...last time she went shopping she said she saw a 400gb harddrive for 200$ and should have bought it...
