Hello , i`m making a website called "Make Site Free" (still haven`t hosted it , gathering stuff for it) witch will have :

1) : Free templates (WITHOUT ANY LINKS OR ADS OR BANNERS BACK REQUIRED)
2) : Free java scripts (the same offcourse)
3) : Online image gallery (a gallery of already hosted images that you can use in your site without having to host it for your self)

The good thing is , as i said no links back or anything like in almost every other site .

So , i made 1 template with two stiles so far (started not so while ago..) , and geathered a few graphic artists and html , java script codders to help me out .

But to not keep it all just talk , i`l post that 1 template with two themes here (just click on download to download them)

Here you can see how they look :

(i know preatty simple , i`m not too good at making them , and they are meanth for simple sites , for Db users sites that is (they future Downloads , About us , Contact us links - that is everything a db user needs)

I think everyone here can manage those types of sites on their own - keep practising though.

A little of topic, but a small web design company I interned with bought the rights to all the templates of a larger web template company. They had litteraly over 700 templates, each were very nice and proffesional. My "job" was to make a sample web page and thumbnail for every single template. Even though the text in each webpage was the same, it took me days. I must have spent over 30 hours creating every webpage. Afterwards I burned all my work onto a DVD and mailed it to my supervisor. He sent me an e-mail in return saying he wanted the thumbnails larger. I spent another 6 hours or so re-screen capturing each webpage and cropping, resizing, and saving the JPGs. I didn't get paid for it, but I did get a fair amount of college credit.
Umm... Anyways, the point of this story is that I have about 700 webpage templates at my personal disposal. I can't distribute or sell them to anyone, but I could send you a few of the thumbnails for ideas and/or reference.

Your templates don't look too bad. Perhaps ad a soft-colored background and Title/Text formatting. After learning the basics, you can do some pretty advanced stuff with css.

[Edit]: Whoa! No spelling mistakes. It's either a miracle or a sign of the apocalypse!

When will people stop saying "your? It's "you're".

Nah it's not so bad. It's worse when they say "you're" for "your".

Dodic, I don't think you're in any type of situation to be teaching English.

Because I hardly understood your above post.

Dodic speaks better English than he writes. You can tell this because when he mis-spells stuff he spells it phonetically. Personally I'm always impressded by foreigners who can learn English, its one of the most bizzare and complicated common world languages to learn

and Dodic, you're is indeed shortenned, it stands for "You Are" hense why I personally can't understand why so many people use it incorrectly, like saying "I love you're coat" makes no sense at all, unless you are talkins to a coat, and you are saying how glad you are that it is one

I get very confused with were/where and lots of other word combinations like that. You may not like it, you may think it's funny, you may mock my affliction, and you may point out my errors - but you'll never make me get it right because believe me i've tried.

I would never mock somebody for bad spelling/grammer, that has no bearing whatsoever on how intellignet they are. I would also never mock somebody for lack of intelligence (unrelated as I said) that also has no bearing whatsoever on how nice a person is
