Okay, I am not a newcomer, but the question is, hmm, for newcomers I think, here we go, when I use th input command, the program stops, I know that, but my text disappears?

The byte chrunchers are coming...

Try putting "backdrop off" before the input and then "backdrop on" after it. This seems to work on my computer.
