Airdoo is a "dangerous" guy , i`m not angry about it anymore becouse they didn`t have much of a purpoise , but if you knew what he did to my forums.. many times.. as i said i don`t care anymore , i decided it was a bad idea having forums at the first place , when i can ask and answer all i want here.. just to warn you ..

OH and mods i just got this from airdoo he was banned and it was set to expire on 2006-08-02 07:51:05 shouldnt he be unbanned by now i dont even no what he did

p.s. Yes , GM aint so bad , but if you buy GM6.2 becouse really the last freeware one (gm4.3) is really , well , not for much of good games...

But usually i guess you want to make nice games , dont spend a penny , dont give a high effort , draw graphics in paint (imagen of buying an image editor... ) , and all people to love your games and respect you ? .. sorry , but just try to be patient , and try to NOT get bored if all that you make doesnt grab all the attension and doesnt come out as far cry 2 , just take your time .. learn Dark Basic ... Dark Basic is actually very easy to learn witch such a good sorted help , online tutorials , and a great community witch will help you out with every code you need help with. Belive it or not , people appreciate more if you post a proper BOX drawer application , then some "Great Game" witch you will never either finish , or you havent eaven started yet...
I finished some gradient drawer and random polygon drawer snippets and posted it into 20 line challenge , and i`m sure people like that much more then if i had posted "Super game ! Comming out soon ! Screenshots And Descriptions .. soon ! ... Do you like it ?"


To who ever read this whole thing , i cannot explain WHY i wrote it , and exactly on WHO i meanth (i guess i meanth it for several of "characters", but i made it a bit more generaly)

As many of you can notice , i stoped with posting such number of unfinished projects , and stoped with "spamming"(i never wanted to call it Spamming , so i always used ""...) (or at least i think so) , only projects i posted recently is actually the Fpsc Segment Creator witch is fully working , and i can freely say its finished.
(a while back.. g-launcher (it was also totaly working and i can call it finished))


Why did i inprove : Well at the first place , i liked to get some attention , so i posted/made a lot of projects to do it (i admitt it ! ) , and well recently , i just learned a little more , i was interested in LEARNING more then to (well whatever was i doing before) , and now , i`m actually come , and prepared to work out a project fully and then post it , or if i`m gonna post it , at least i`m going to finish it. (and now i`m thinking more about what are my limits , so i dont post projects that i cant really make...)

Hm.. yes it was actually wierd how their forums got eraced , maby they did it , maby a server glitch , maby actually hack (who would hack into a free forum with few members and erace it ??) , and he thinks i somehow "hacked" and eraced his whole forums... Well , if i would erace his forums witch i visited once a week and didnt disslike at all , "tgc , dont get angry about this part" , what would i do to the tgc forums when at the first place i didnt liked a , well lets just say a number of members... (Wasnt aware of what i was doing back there , i didnt reallise that i was only bothering people with posts of such a lot of projects ... i`m aware now anyways.. )

And who is Dodica in the first place ...

ok arridoo gammaker is a good starter program that is what i started with then i found DB and i im never going back so DB is better.

A wise man once said, "Game Maker is good... but DB Pro is better". (That would be me )

Ok. Think of it this way: how many commercial games have been created with GM? The answer: if any, not very many. Ok, here's another question: How many commercial games has DB / DB Pro created? Answer: alot. (and very good ones too: DTS; 3D Mahjong; etc.)

Well, i`m not sure how much commercial are there really, but there are good ones definatly..



Yeah dbpro is great, and when i get the chance i`ll buy it..

Game Maker is a great program, and actually has quite alot of commercial games. And, unlike some think, it is not a point-and-click game maker, but actually has a somewhat advanced, c-like programming language called GML. Though Dark Basic is better in many ways(alot better 3D, that's for sure!), you have to give some respect to Professor Mark Overmars for making such a great program. Also, if you haven't used the program since 4.3, don't judge it! It has changed alot since then.

PS : I think the TGC Forums should be more like the Game Maker Community, it has a great setup.
