That's cool! I was kinda dissapointed when it started out like Megaman for the title sequence and menu but wasn't Megaman like in the actual game.

What I found so interesting about the whole proposal at the time (this happened around 4 months ago) was that when the 'game' actually got made, Jack Thompson didn't donate the cheque because he claimed his whole proposal was just satire. Yet, what kind of satire goes into so much detail as to describe the game in 6 or 7 lengthy paragraphs? Clearly he thought no one was going to make the game and obviously someone's called his bluff. Fortunately, the good folks at Penny Arcade went ahead and donated the $10,000 anyway, now there's irony for you.

I just downloaded this game today--- I worked with the guy who did the music for this game, as he's one of the best programmers I've ever worked with (at my last game company).

Kudos to the developers

You have to kill things until they drop a key.

You go all the way to the right killing everything, see the door and get the message about the key, then backtrack all the way left whilst killing everything, one of the last 2 guys will drop the key.

Thompsonsoft Temporary Headquarters (Graciously hosted by Original Icons)

J.T., you've been a busy little monkey! I hear you've been talking to our host and posting all over Livejournal. Are you emo or something?

We love you, Jack. And we ARE obsessed with you (almost as obsessed with you as you are with us). You're our lead designer and we wouldn't be here without you.

By the way, I like how you mention that Jacob Robida plays video games but not that he's also a gun-loving Neo Nazi hick. But you know, you're right, it's probably the video games that set him off. Not the swastikas and guns.

But hey, the Super Bowl's on and I've got to run! Come over if you'd like. I'll save you a beer.

Yours Truly,

They must have dropped the key off the screen somewhere where you can't go.
