Hey all,
I say just, but I actually bought it last night and have been playing it like a giddy little twonk since then. I spent most of last night playing topspin tennis (great game, really fun, much better than I thought a tennis game would be) and today I bought Halo 2 and Project Gotham Racing 2 so have played them for a good few hours.

At the rate I'm going it won't be long before I'm in need of something new so I was just wondering what games you people would recommend or if there's any games to be released soon that look good.

I've read a few reviews of Fable and it looks good, any other suggestions? I might buy Half Life 2 because it never ran that well on my pc and now I've done a system restore it's uninstalled and there is NO WAY I'm going to install that on 56k again.

Some people probably think I should have bought a 360 but the last two days have been great fun and I don't regret buying my xbox for one second. I wanted a copy of Halo 2 and PGR2 since they were released and now I'm got them I'm ->

*Thinks about all those gamecube games that look good*
*Starts saving money*

I recommend, 100%, either Burnout 3 or Burnout Revenge. They are perhaps the greatest arcade racing/crashing games ever created

We just rented Burnout 3, holy cowstink. Fun.

I don't see many good new games coming up, so here's my Xbox favorites.

Games not everyone likes but I think you need:


Retro Compilations you should buy:


All the following games are really fun (if not perfect) and you can pick them up in second hand shops (like gamestation) for under a fiver!


And last but not least, chip it and play MAME, SNES, Megadrive etc games Especially Marvel VS Capcom & MEtal Slug Serises are essential in My view

Burnout 3 without a doubt, it has some serious gameplay and it's stupidly fun to play, even burnout legends on the PSP is awesome.
watch those cars crumble

burnout is the essential 'extreme fun' purchase for your xbox. buy anything else and you r teh NUTZ!!!!oneoneonefour. yeah ger yourself an executer chip and do everything with your Xbox, web server, Linux box, Emulation box, slap a 120 Gig HDD in there too

Thanks people, it's already chipped with an evox chip*. I don't know how good this is compared to other chips out there but topspin (which was scratched and so a bit skippy) ran perfectly once it was on the 120gb hd. I've got burnout 1 and 2 for PS2 and will definately think about getting 3 on the xbox. Probably get oddworld aswell.

Just spent most of the day playing halo2 co-op and PGR2 mutiplayer, top stuff.


*EDIT:; After doing a bit of research I think evox is just a dashboard mod, if so I don't know what chip it is.

Make sure you grab Black when it comes out.. One of the last -highly- anticipated games for the original xbox coming out.
