Whe nusing Create Sphere (object no.), size, x,y,?,? it says you can define the number of rows and colomns. I assume this is to get a higher res sphere but I can't get it to work ?

Any help on how to make a higher res 3D sphere ?

Do I need to use a 3D sphere model in .x format ?

If so can someone pls point me to where I can get one or how to create one suitable for a planet ?

Thx in advance.

I think that db can`t make a higher polygon sphere , i think the only way to solve that problem is to inport a simple sphere model made in a modeling program (witch should be easy to make..) .

Textures can be higher res. Really, you can load a high-res sphere made in a modelling program, anybody could make a sphere in a modelling program.

just scale the sphere in the 3d prog to 100,100,100
then itll be the same size like the db one then you can whrite your own command/function like make object highressphere 1 etc...

well , that is a way.. but it`s actually easier to use load object command instead of that.. (if you don`t want a looot of spheres in game...)
