Normalization scales light so that small, and large objects are lit the same.

A bob in DB is a sprite, but that is incorrect in terms of the definition of a bob.

Bob in DB = Sprite

Bob in real world = Blitter Object.

A blitter object is actually a bitmap image that is pasted to the screen by a bitmap chip. Pc's do not have a special bitmap chip, but the Amiga did. So Bobs really relate to the Amiga computer.

When I played UO I was a mage... every Daemon I summoned I named Bob.

There's no need for both sprite, and bob commands.

It's just an old typo... they forgot to change "bob" to "sprite".
