how do I show a picture on my posts such as a screen shot of a game I have made?

From what i've seen you have to be able to host the picture from another website. If you really wanted to do it you could use a forum like the Elysiun forum for Blender, or just get a small free website and use it to post your pics to. I think it's pretty annoying, but hey i'm not complaining, bandwidth for pics on forums isn't cheap.

The scarecrow has no mind, but serves its function well.

No, you don't have to upload your pics to your server.

Use the attachment button on this page when you post a new message. Then view the thread with your new message and you'll see a Download button under your reply. Right-click it and copy the URL to the image.

Now, edit your reply post and put the image URL between IMG tags. Voila!
