Hi all!
Here is the trailer of my upcoming game Escape From Prison 112.
When you have watched it give me some feedback.

PS: Movie is zipped .avi so you have to unzip it before watching.

PPS: Framerate is not really that slow.

That trailer had the potential to be rubbish, however the lighting in the game saved it and made it look really good.

How many games are you making?

Why is there an object floating half way into the movie? It looks like a black box with a shadow under it.

It is just early trailer so don't worry!

How many games? Hmmmm...
I can say I'm doing seriously only this one.
Winter War is now in the little break.

I don't understand what you mean. Do you mean that box that player throws straight to the guards face.
You can grab dynamic objects with right mouse button and throw with lefts button.

I think that you should focus entirely on making one game, and after that's ready, then move on to a next project. I hope you don't give up making Winter of Death. Anyway, the screenshot has good lightning, but it's a bit boring. Add few more entities and it will look a bit better

Oh yeah, and you should update the pic on your signature. It's february now and it isn't out yet.

What settings did you use to get the box to cause damage to the enemy?

Understood but what catagory in the fpi? I've been trying different ones, but only to watch the object bounce off the enemies face doing nothing.

You don't have to change .fpe!
Only right click box in the editor and find ''physics damage''.

In the tailer, if half way through, you will see a room with some thing box shaped near enough the middle, that appears to be floating above the floor.

dude, It's just a box that's dark because of lighting and the shadow is not below it; it's a stain on the floor (part of the texture). Now you can relax, lol.
@Nigezu-what other catagories were changed and what exact numbers did you use? I increased the damage but it still just bounces off them with no effect, So what number value did you put in physics damage? Did you change the weight also?

EDIT-I see others have had trouble doing this also and haveing the exact same effect that I am getting, where the object just bounces off the enemy causeing no damage.

I put mine to 999999, set the enemy's health to 5 and it worked pretty well.

Strange. Now that box doesn't do any damage to enemy anymore.

Quote: "So what number value did you put in physics damage? Did you change the weight also?"

physics damage: 9999999
strength: 100
weight: 1000

It sure doesn't, but if you stand too close and it bounces back on you it causes instant death! So the damage works ,just not on enemies
