Been trying to get server-info from my computers, and it was working, for awhile. Now, whenever I try to connect to one of my two machines I'll get either 187(desktop) or a 185(on my mactop). I'm sending the request from the desktop. I can't find any info on what those codes mean.

thanks, real helpful.

When you make a successful request from a server, it returns the code 200. Or 404 if you requested something that doesn't exist. 403 for an authorization failure. However, I suddenly started getting 187 when I was just previously getting 200.

I'm working on writing a DAAP protocol.

How are you going about sending your request to the server, and what information are you supplying with the request?

If you're working on a DAAP protocol and it worked before but not now, then that could be a sign that you've edited some source code that caused the problem. Also if you're familiar with assembler you could try loading your client up a debugger and follow the instructions that send and receive to make sure the proper data is being transmitted. Same for the server if needed.

blah. I added some code to output the data as its parsed. And in doing so, and I accidently changed something. 187 was the data length. so, stupid parse error on my end.
