Newcomers DBPro Corner / mouse sprites ??

ok i'm pritty much new to programming in dbp and have just started the development of my first game. I want my mouse to be my main char and move i've done some code but the sprite seems not to move and the black border is still showing on the sprite .... why is that.

this is the code i have

load image "lost.jpg",25
sprite 25,320,240,1
set sprite 25,1,1
sprite 25, mousex(),mousey(),25

any ideas :s plz help
