Whats a good forum package thing that I can download and put on a public web server? Preferably something free, or free trial, but backend specs don't matter. We have plenty of horsepower, bandwidth and a SQL server. But also it doesn't need to be so industrial-strength. Its for something for work, where about 20-30 people can make use of it internally and externally. I am not familiar with any of the various forum packages etc, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't do any website programming at all, but this is the only link I have in my favorites for some reason or another.

http://www.quicksilverforums.com/

I'll ask my younger brother when I see him (he does the web stuff) though.

It's very easy to set up, it comes with an install page. So long as you can upload files and set permissions, there's very little knowledge required.

yeah, I may just go with phpBB, it supports SQL Server 2000 directly. Also yes, I have physical access to the servers as admin

thanks
