If anyone here ever used to play on the old Vextrex systems, you'll really appreciate this one (AND you'll be admitting you're OLD!)

I actually wrote a tool to generate the 2D vectors (that's what's stored in the DATA arrays)...so I certainly win the highest linecount award: over 300 lines of code went into making this 20 line demo.

no...it works fine with the trial version, but the problem you'd be having seems only to happen with the Beta 3 copy of dbpro.

there is a bug with that version that prevents the compiler from seeing UDTs nested in function calls. there are workarounds, but it drives it way over the 20 lines (as you have to use indirect assignment to temp vars for everything).

blow off your beta 3 and download the 30 day demo...i'm running it here at work (I have the full version at home) and it works fine!
