Thanks to BULLSHOCK 2 for translateing the animations to milshape3d! It got me motivated to do my first free model for the forum. It's Completely free; I only ask 2 things-
1.Please give me credit in your game as such "George Patterson-www.disturbing13.com"
2.and that you don't try to sell it with some model pack!!!
This is a gift; If abused then there will be no more...and I'll sue,lol...no seriously.

I call him GRIZZLY but you can call him what you want.
It's best to use the grenade throw animation for his attack.(as seen above)
EDIT:Ack my have put wrong model in there or maybe not a model at all; I'll reupload.
EDIT: Fixed.

Thanks, glad you guys like. I may make a few model packs soon, but unfortunately I couldn't sell them with the rigging and the TGC animations, unless I made them specificly for TGC, provideing they are intrested. I may inquire about it unless they inquire first.

I could but nowhere near the quality that is presented in the enemy models for FPSC. It has over 2000 frames of animation. I can alter animations decently,and rig them decently, but i'm nowhere near skilled enough to create my own animations, or at least in that masive a quantity.

I think you can sell a model pack rigged with there animation. They don't care if it's skins for models they made, and the character animation was released so other people could put enemies in with the default animations.

@Punch you now- put him in entities in a user folder and put his texture in texures under user, then copy an FPE from another enemy into the entities folder (in user also), then change the name of the FPE. Open the FPE and make sure all the files are being directed to the correct areas where you put the textures and models. Also as Antimatter games said, use one of the zombie scripts. make sure the attack animation is the same as the greanade throw animation. Also (my bad) put the included .bmp into the entities/user folder also. That should cover it.If I missed any steps let me know.
@Tom0001-Yes ofcourse, as I said, I only ask 2 things -
Quote: "1.Please give me credit in your game as such "George Patterson-www.disturbing13.com"
2.and that you don't try to sell it with some model pack!!!
"

Oh lemme add a #3. Inform me of its use so I can ammass a list of projects it has been used in (commercial or not).Thanks.

I'll tell you what would be better

When he walks/runs up to you, you could change the walking sound to a more mechanical walk, that would be cool! .

Oh, Disturbing 13, if you did, where did you get this model from?

I made this model in milkshape myself. My own imagination; although the jaw was inspired by the orks of warhammer40k. It only took a day and honestly is made up of primarily very well sculpted primatives if I do say so myself. I can model quite fast when I'm in the mood and Bullshock2's contribution(Milkshape3d animated skeleton for FPS) put me in the mood. Primarily the textures are from the "Deadrekoning" texture pack that was included in an outdated game creation system. So to sum it up, I made the model based on the FPSC enemy animations.

Um that is the MOST important thing. You could put them anywhere ya want, but if the FPE doesn't say where it's going your'e not going to get any results. Follow Natflash Games's example.
@Natflash Games-Nah don't mind at all, infact I appreciate the help.

I love this, i dont know about other people, but if you were to release a 10 pack of models based like this robot/monster/quake-style thing, Full rigged and animated, I'd pay 50 bucks!

well im doing a slow release of a 5 pack with accessory entities for $20. The slow release is % bucks for a charicter and 3 alternate versions of it with 3 to 5 accessories at a time. It's a Horror and oddity theme though rather than quake style, but my next pack may be more scifi/horrorish. look for "Sneak Peek at Creeps and Freaks" to see what I'm talking about. This model has a slight flaw in it's exporting so I may re-release it with propper settings.

Thanks! but nope, Im afraid in that department I'm still oldschool, Should I learn to make normalmaps by say ... tonight I will include them in the release of Creeps and Freaks part1. All I have is milkshape3d and Paint Shop Pro so I'm a bit shy on the equiptment for normal mapping. Right now all of my detail work is done with textures alone. Any one know any normal mapping tuts that can be done useing what I have? I'd be willing to wait a bit more and make normals for the models I have right now before releaseing them.

ok, can you save as targa -TGA, because I have an app that will convert your TGA to a normal map.

And thanks for the model. I'm re-texturing it, but it's sick dude.

is the model working for you guys? cuz I wasn't sure it was exported correctly. If anybody can just let me know if its taking hits propperly and all that would be cool.

@Paper Assassin - thanks hopefully more will come soon

@Rick M - Glad ya like

@FredP - Not a problem It is an old post but I'm glad it resurfaced incase it's not functioning propperly. If not I will fix it.

@Butter fingers - what app is that I would love something that would do that for me.
