hi, i have decided i am gonna make a SUD a single user mud. which is basically a text adventure. i have the theme all figured out. but i don\\\'t know how to start. How should i start?

any help is appreciated

If you do a search in the Codebase, you'll find at least two (probably more) starter guides to text adventures.

Look under the category 'Text'.
