Dose it exist a command to find the greatest common factor for two numbers or get al the factors in a number and then find the GCF? I can hardly imagine that there is existanse of such a command so if any one have a snippet or sugestions, or the best a link to a homepage that can explain how to find the GCF with using algebra.

oh wait, no it isn't, unless DBPro has MOD or % functions cuz I tell ya, i've REALLY needed those in the past!

Well I guess I'm on my one with finding the GCF with DBpro. I have thogh of some options how to find out.

Well in a fractions tou can have Prime numbers or Composite Numbers. So to simplifying a fraction I'll need to have 4 options.

1: For fractions with only prime numbers: 3
5

2: For fractions with only composite numbers: 4
6

3: For fractions wich the denominator is prime: 4
5

4: For fractions wich the numerator is prime: 5
12

And then I'll need a IF statement that can check the number for decimals:



This just a un polished idea I'll need to work on when I get back from school.

Ok is there any way to save all possible factor for a number inte a variable and then see if some of the numbers match with anouther numbers fractors.

Like this:

15 (1, 3, 5, 15)
30 (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, 30)
