Its hard to get people to animate things for you for free. (believe me, ive tried)

Personally, I don't mind doing some animation for free. The only thing is the legality of it. Unfortunately I don't own DarkMATTER, thus you would have to pass the models to me to animate, which would be ..er.wrong. Unless you got permission of course.

The other scenario is that, quite often models are upload without the inlcuded readmes or licenses in which case I would have no idea if its really a free model or not. To add to that, the model then gets passed around without the info and eventually the line in the readme "please credit me if you use it.." gets totally forgotten.

So, yeah if it did not violate any copyrights/licenses then I'd gladly take a crack at it.

edit {sorry didnt refresh) you mean just get them into fpsc? They have proper animations already?

By the way, the DarkMatter models are not boned right? Do they come in a DaVinci or "T" pose. The typical hands stretched out, legs slightly apart? or are they in some action pose by default?

example with the media pack 1(weapons)
tools needed..
frangmotion
milkshape
import the dark matter weapon with fragmotion(xfile)
export as a milkshape file..
open the weapon in milkshape, export it as anything i use the autodesk 3d option

import (with fragmotion) a FPSC weapon (should be one nearest to your dark matter weapon)example if your dark matter weapon is a rifle then use Mas36
export has a milkshape file making sure u have animation ticked..

open the mas36 with milkshape go to joints and tick show joints
u should see all the joints...
import the darkmarter model (autodesk3d file)
now u should see both weapons. Now u have to line the dark matter weapon up with the mas36,line so u should only see one weapon depending on which one is longer..
now click joints and select biped1 go to (top left of screen) and click edit, scroll down to select all and click assign, now click animation button now both weapons should be moving together..(animated)...now u must click groups and find the mas36 when found it select it and move it away from the dark matter model then delete it...(this bit is tricky)
finaly u need to export the gun twice once as a HUD.x and as a VEWAP.x
export the weapon under the directx(jt) option
Setting for HUD
position scaling 2.1
right handled
animation time factor 1
for VWEAP use the same setting apart from...... tick Exclude Animation..
ok i think u can set up the folder in FPSC yourself just go off the mas36 folder....
