This is my first 3d game I've made in DarkBASIC Pro. I thought it was good enough for a WIP post, so I've posted it here. I hope you enjoy it.

About

It is called Virus Attack. You are a Virus Programmer (although you don't actually have to program, hey it's set in the year 2400 or something!) and these evil people have taken over the galaxy. You have to hack into their computers, plant your virus and wait for them to be destroyed (or your virus to crash/fail/get an error etc). It's got a lot of sound and isn't very graphics intense.

Here's the storyline from inside the game:

It is the year 2487, you are an inexperienced virus programmer, one of thousands employed by the Rebel Codebreaking Agency. Your goal is to hack into and destroy the evil computers of the Galatical Leadership Network and restore independence to the planet Earth and the rest of the galaxy!

How to Play

Follow the on screen instructions when it's in text, when you get to the 3D part click on an enemy to attack it and watch the snazzy effects.

To do

It only has 3 levels, 5 in the patched version . I am planning on adding more as it is easy to do and doesn't take long.

Make the GUI easier to use/look better.

my advice, use ALT + PrintScreen to make a shot only of the selected screen.

nice shots btw.

Cool demo with some nice effects, but overall it needs some more strategy to it. I like how you can upgrade your computer and buy more ram, but the "battle" system doesn't take any skill or strategy.
good luck with your project

Thanks for the comments, yes it doesn't take much skill or strategy really yet, I'm still wondering on how to change that as the whole game relies on the battling really.

I've made a version with 12 levels, lots of bugfixes and I'm working on making the battle system more interactive at the moment.

Thanks for the tips about Alt+PrintScreen.

Oh yeah and here is the link. http://www.grahamedgecombe.com/minisites/VirusAttack2.zip
