i would consider it a huge favor to include your name in my
game that i will enter, if you could possibly tell me.
1, how to make an object glow, such as a projectile.
2, i can create particile effects for explosions, but to get
an acurate explosion effect that simulates fire, to me is
bewildering, so PLEASE how is that done

easi... make a light or something in photoshop or paintshop
export it on a black background.

then load onto a ghosted plain which always faces the camera moving witht he object (obviously larger than the object itself )
simple glow effect ... and for explosions the same kinda thing, just start at the objects axis and have them randomly move outwards - if you have them grow from like 1% size to 200% size then shrink to 1% again over a longer period whilst falling does a good effect
