Hello. I was just wondering if it is possible to take the models from T3DGM and be able to make them fpsc ready. If anyone could write or show me how to do it I would be ver happy. thanks again.

Good question actually .

Well if you can take DarkMATTER material into FPSC, you're bound to take T3DGM material into it too .

Cheers,

Ive done that before, I would post them but I got told off for doing that.
So here is how to do it.
Choose a model from T3DGM then take the regular .x file (not the walking model etc.) and the TGA texture and the bitmap then create an .FPE for it.
Ive done a template for you, (download) just change all the paths to your chosen model
e.g. desc=Police Car, Textured= Police Car.tga, Model= Police Car.x
Then throw it all into the entitybank\user
Make sure that the .tga, .bmp and .x are all in the same folder as the .fpe

Hi,
I attempted to use the *.X model from the Model Pack for T3DGM as the character in FPSC, but it did not succeed
I used the Entity Maker for creation of the thumbnail and *.fpe file(just like shown in the video tutorial that came with FPSC), copied all files including original texture to the same directory and ran FPSC. My models ARE visible in map editor and I can place them in the map. The problem is that they disappear while running "test level". The interesting thing is that the "invisible" characters actually are there in the game, because the shadow below them moves as the entity moves and when the player gets too close, his health decreases.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
I want to admit that the problem persists for dynamic objects and characters. If the same models are used as a static objects or items - everything works fine.

Oh boy, here it goes again.
Kids, you cannot, under the terms of T3DGM, use the stock models in any commercial/non T3DGM* project. the ones that are from dark matter, well, i am not sure.

* needs conferming.
