Hi

Going on holiday to Finland for a week, so I won't be around (in particular, to reply to questions about Unity, although I'll try to check my email).

See you all in a week.

I went to Finland a few years ago (Poorvo, 30 mins outside Helsinki) to meet my girlfriends parents. It was quite insane!

She took me on a speed boat out to a small island where her parents had a log cabin. Inside were her parents, her sister, her brother and two of her parents friends. 20 minutes after being introduced to them all we were all naked in the sauna, beating each other with branches ... those crazy Fins!

Good luck

I live in finland, yeah some of those older people tend to be little traditional, but the youngsters are normalizing when the world is getting smaller. Maybe I'll post some pictures I have taken here in finland:

There is so cold that sea is freezed so that you can walk on it. (Thats me in the picture btw )

Here is my backyard, some say that its really depressing before the winter (dark, wet, cold), but that's how it looks after that.

This is from upper finland, there are this kind of landscape everywhere

This is from the river that separates the norway and finland (yes thats me again )

Here is how the forests looks, that picture is taken at my cottage.
But beware, there are those crazy white dogs and wolves who attack suddenly behind. (No seriously that's my dog, its sleeping right now when Im coding, so you dont have to be afraid )

Me and my cameras "self-picture-taker" (what is it in english) are really good photographers

I heard about that and watched a TV program on it...twice, but I'm not sure where it is, looks interesting though, they have to rebuild it every winter though

Hi I'm back.

It was lovely. I stayed in a village 120km north of Rovaniemi in the arctic, did lots of skiing and snowboarding.

Have to say I was disappointedf with the temperature. It was only below -15c on two days! I hear there was a pocket of warm weather coming from the north, the day we left it had got up to 0!

Still, it was great. Might post up some pics later.

@Tachyon - whereabouts do you live?
