some companies get the weirdest ideas, one place I worked they decided to ban all talking between staff in the factory to increase production and had all the chargehands and shift managers try to enforce it, that lasted all of 3 days, we all kept walking off into the warehouse for a chat (ha! they forgot that when they announced it), after all, how could we ask each other for help or whatever if we couldn`t talk
, production went down..not up, they soon revoked that rule
, things like company anthems are just plain lame, like incentive posters and team meetings
, purleese!, I went to work for the money, not to admire the pretty posters or have some suit from the office
come round every week and tell us how wonderfull the firm is
(then they went bust)
