Not exactly, what I do is open Graphics Gale (or some other drawing program) find the color I like and check its RGB there.

put simply, here are the rgb values for the main colors:

red: 255,0,0
green: 0,255,0
blue: 0,0,255
yellow: 255,255,0
black: 0,0,0
white: 255,255,255

in rgb, r stands for red, g for green, b for blue. the lower the number in each value, the darker the shade of color used in the current rgb command.

hope this helps.

(by the way, how many "db newbie"'s are there in these forums? and by that, i mean how many people use that forum name or something similar? I've seen a "db newbe" as well)

if you are using darkedit it will be so easy to get the color that you want

If you hear a voise within you say "You can't program" then program and that voise will be silenced.

In DarkEdit you can hit the right mouse button and select Preview/Insert RGB Color. Pick the color you want and hit Ok and the "rgb" command with the red, green, and blue content already in the command.

darkedit has colored syntax, it is a windows editor and not like darkbasic which only works in fullscreen

If you hear a voise within you say "You can't program" then program and that voise will be silenced.
