my new pc (windows xp and all that) has a problem loading midi music files in db. the first time i try and run the program, it freezes up and i have to press f12 to return to the editor only to find a runtime warning (music can't be loaded) at the bottom of the page. the music is in the project file, yet the second time i run it, the cli appears with the same warning. the third time i run it, the program works fine, and it seems to load the music, but when it hits a "play music" command, it won't play, although it seems to play a certain wma track, yet it won't play any other wma tracks. even though the midi music won't play, the rest of the program works, sounds and all! please help!

no worries, i installed codecs and wma works fine. i uninstalled db and reinstalled, but without the enhancements, which i never use anyway. strange, though, the enhancements are still active, but midi files now work! click below to see what's going on at Sonic 91 Software!
