Here's an early alpha of a rugby tech demo. Written in PlayBasic of course.

That looks 3D ... I thought PlayBasic was 2D only.

Does PlayBasic now incorperate 3D or is it simulated 3D using scaled sprites (or something)?

It's 2D. PlayBasic has texture mapped polygon and rotation support built in though. So you can roll your own 3D, with a few limitations. Which is what this demo does.

We've been trialing some updated art work and more new features. So it looks a lot better !

Have added

- goal posts
- far stadium
- alpha player shadows
- alpha blended hud
