im posting this coz i use it a lot, and i think a lot of newbies dont know about it.

if you go to help, and commands, you can find a menu that lists all catagories like "sprites", "text", "memblocks" etc, theres one for everything, in these it lsts all of dbps commands for that catagory aswell as a description for it and an example, this is a great help.

i'm pretty sure they all know there are help files, but they don't use them because the don't understand them all the time. me, for instance, when i am trying to figure out how to do something, i look in the help files first and then i try to see if anyone has already answered it in the forums, then i ask for help on the boards. sometimes, i would use the help files all the time, but sometimes i'm not sure what i need to be looking on the help files for.

Anyone who hasn't mastered the art of pressing F1 shouldn't be trying to program. In fact, I would recommend they find teh receipt and box their computer came in.

Don't feel bad about it. There really are Newbies that don't know about the Help Files.
