Does anyone know of some free software that can rip a dvd to avi or mpeg files?

I made a school project some years back and i put it on dvd(Video file), and i want to store it on my computer as a single file i can send people.

Thanks alot. Right now they're on the dvd as .VOB files.

Just rename the .VOB to .MPG if you did not encrypt them.

At least farting ferrets are better than stinky stoats.
