I sense your future, flamed?

How would we have your game to take screenies?

Are you sure this isn't just a "Can you make my game" post?

Unless your talking about just hosting some screenshots of your game in which you can use image shack like every1 else

Not to seem too harsh though, could u post some pictures up of what you've done pretty quickly before it gets locked?

Uh what they said,

Please try to coply with the rules please, I'm afraid people here have a habit of flaming those who break them.

I think he is referring to his next post where he will post the demo, and just wants someone to post the screenies, as I am assuming he doesn't know how to do them.

@Gamer, what I would suggest is this, to stop/prevent flames and this being locked,

Take screenshots, post the demo and explain the game in more depth.

To get screenies on here incase you didn't know (as I assumed from the post you don't)
Press the button on the keyboard "PrtSc" it copies all that is on your screen onto the clipboard
Then open up Paint and paste, save it up as a jpg and host the image onto http://photobucket.com then copy the tag that has 'img' in square brackets, and paste it into your forum post

@Everyone else, until he does this, please lay off any flaming a bit

I tried to run it, no joy it opens up a DBP window them minimizes it.. It's still opened in memory *viewed task manager*

Anyway, i've noticed not many people know how to program AI which is kind of strange considering how easy it is?

You have various AI states depending on what you want them to do

E.g.
Pac-man
1st ghost has random state - just hovers around the level randomly
2nd-3rd ghosts take seperate routes to try close you in
4th ghost - Follows you if you get close to it

Then its just a matter of implementing it, and having a bit of common sense on how to do the path finding.

I'm not sure what you want your AI to do with the lack of information on your game...

Dude, there's something called Print Screen on your keyboard! I can't believe so many people don't know how to make in-game screenshots! XD

Those screenshots looks like the FPS tutorial by RUCCUS...

Oh well... To take in-game screenshots press the "Print screen" button on your keyboard and paste it into something like paint.

PS: There exists an edit button. Honestly.

Edit: Sorry, but English isn't my mother tongue( I'm still learning). But you're right. Nevertheless I think a hint wasn't inappropriate.

Nice job that's a picture directly from Ruccus' FPS tutorial. Looks exactly like it also. Maybe that's becuase you haven't really done anything.

New forums? Haven't this forum been around for like, 4-5 years?

And just to agree with Nerd and Antidote :

1. thats not 2 screenshots. that is 1 screenshot posted twice
2. it appears you are posting screenshots of a "game" originally written by somebody else
3. you've been here quite long. if you started with db in dec 2005 then you've got further then i did in 4months. all i could do was print hello world in a loop and random positions. i didn't have internet so im basically self learned. but i guess i should say good job, but im not sure, maybe someone will hit me

my forum - still in development

hits lewis as well
It is just a sphere and a box, and arn't there a command to make both sphere and box?

But besides that, if in 4 months you couldn't even make a 2D shooter, I have no clue how you 'self learned' your way to where you are now.

We all have our inner noob.
I personally believe society is flawed; our notions on life, on child rearing, stem too far back to be of relevance in this day and time.

Correction: Its a sphere controllable with standard WSAD movement/Mouse Look, Jumping/Falling with implemeted basic physics, sliding collision, shooting/killing an enemy, reloading, text HUD of ammo and clips, an ammo box to obtain more ammo with, and a nice little cross hair

But close enough
