Hello All

I've been trying to create a sprite in Paint shop pro v9
I can't get the transparency to work, have looked online and in forum, but didn't find anything.

Could anyone talk me through the steps or does anyone know of any links/webpages I could check out.

I'm still using Paint Shop Pro 7... but when I select a new picture it gives me a window where I can change the background color to transparent (image attached). That works good for editing but if the image you're wanting to be transparent is a .bmp add a layer of black to make the .bmp transparent in Darkbasic. If you want to keep the way it is (without black) use .png instead.
