I want to create a program that is voice activated after I execute the program. However, I don't know if Darkbasic will support a microphone input as a valid human interface such as the mouse or keyboard. Does anybody know if it will support the microphone to execute commands in a program created in Darkbasic?

Doom, Destruction, and Chaos! Mwahahahahahahahahaha!

I'd say no. But if you really want to try...

I know it's possible to record sound with a microphone. And if you have DBC enhanced, then you can convert it to memblocks for editing.

It's the programmer's life:
Have a problem, solve the problem, and have a new problem to solve.

Do you mean like voice recognition. well i suppose you could use a seperate program that does voice to text. then make your source code open the program in the background automatically...

I don't know how you would do it coding it yourself in DB, I can't see a way to have voice recognition. I can't figure out a way to make it so it checks to see if you said certain words. You would need to do something like what data 98junkiee said.
