Hi ,
Does anyone of you remember the dbpro program which played a movie on how to create a program in just 7 clicks. I'm not interested in the program itself but more in the screen recorder used for it. I have camtasia but you can only determine specific zones to record. In the movie from 7 clicks, a zone AROUND the mouse was recorded. (So if you moved the mouse, the zone moved with it) I'm wondering what kind of recorder the creator was using.

Thanks, sorry for english errors

oh and eeh, does someone know the download link to that program, i can't find it anymore

It is a demo found in your projects directory, you have the source to it

Regarding making videos, there is a program called fraps to capture 3D video.

Unfortunately fraps only capture DirectX apps, so it'll capture you DBPro game, but it won't capture the windows desktop.

yeah I found it thanks! I also found the screen recorder: 'river past screen recorder' .

I'm making a video tutorial for some friends of me, but i only wanted the region around the mouse to be recorded that isn't possible with camtasia.. or fraps.

Thanks!

What you want to look for is a panning feature.

I'd recommend CamStudio (v2.0), completely free and has pretty much any feature you'll need for general capturing.

You can get it from SourceForge or via Major Geeks
