This question goes to tgc, i mean goes to the deveplovers of Dark Basic classic (if any of them visits this board.. ) , or any mod or member that might know the answer :

Well, i`m working on a alternative ide in VB (i know, this isnt db, but the question is about db...so its logical to post this here..), and the question is, how do i link the compile and run button ?

I saw the tutorial that someone posted a link to, but its only for pro, dbclassic doesnt have dbcompile.exe or whatever its called, so i guess i need to call a dll ? If someone could give me instructions that would be very nice (so would my ide )

Yeah, i doubt that we will actually get an answer.. , but in any case, i will "study" db a little, by that i mean experimenting with db.exe to see if i can somehow make it "run", becouse i think that db.exe is the one we should use, not really any external dll`s, so, i`ll try to get it to run a piece of code, and if i get it to work, i`ll tell you how, in the mean time, i would love if someone knows answer to this question.

There is a document in your help folder which shows you the command line arguments to use.

Yeap, it will be posted as soon as finished, now i`m trying to add an icon change option for your project, but that probably will not work(the way i`m trying to make it), but anyways the IDE will sure work

Currently working on (trying) making a new 3d engine for/within dark basic classic out of basic 2d commands, with vertex edit supported.
