i am completley new and i was wondering how do you guys make your 3d worlds, what software and tools you use and which would be the best for me. Thanks

I use mat_edit from www.matedit.com Others use magic world, get it from the DB showcase section. Both are nice and easy

freddix you should make the scale rotate keys to those other than Pgup and Pgdown my keyboard is different

look if you need to build your own world you need a 3d modeling package (make all items buildings,trees,characters...)as for the floor of the main world you can use matrix.matrix is a db feature to make virtual worlds(not make models)only make the earth...

Dont forget the retro games

and a paint program for your textures(or program to make texturs).without texturs your objects will be single colored
one color for eatch object.
