Hi,

does anybody know how to remove the attachment of a post?

I just want to be kind with TGC, freeing some server space, since files are also on my web.

That is what I tried doing, 3ds Master, but it never works.

looks like youll have to live with the burdon of knowing you filled up the tgc server with upto 50megs of disc space , i wouldent know howto live with myself....

just upload an empty file called removed.rar...

edit: doing that might not delete the actual file though, you might have to ask Rich about that...

Yes, I've also edited other users posts with a removed.txt to get rid of attachments and haven't had any problems!

Ok, the reason for not being able to delete a file could simply be because someone is downloading that file at the same moment that the person editing is trying to delete it. The file is probably locked when in use.

That's the easiest explanation to me, I haven't tried to delete it again.
