Im trying to create a simular to log book for school due to some serious bullying going on but thats none of your concern

What i need to ask you all is how do i get the information to be saved into a database so then for future references i can load it back up and it will be on the screen.

Is this possible for DBC because this is what i am using

look up using 'Arrays'

You can easily store information in them

I used arrays to store information into then saved the information to file.. after this the data could then be retrieved and stored back into the array for easy access.

Also look up how to save / load files

Well, what about having files in an FTP database? I know there are commands to get it to read files from there, and I beleive... create them? Hmmm...

Every book I've read on the topic of DBC hasn't EVER gone over FTP databases. Well, maybe I'll read that new DBPro book (Hands On DarkBasic Proffesional). That's next on my "To Buy" List. Lol, I should probably buy DarkBasic Pro BEFORE I get the book

Anyways, I would like to learn how to read, and create files that reside in a secured, password protected FTP database. This, in my mind, would be helpful for updating programs automaticly, and for making online RPG's with passwords and usernames that are stored online. Oh yeah, and character information would be cool too. SO, you could like store all the information telling the program what weapon and health, and XP (ect) you had whenever you exit the program so you're character's information can be restored whenever you reenter the program.

Oh sorry, I was VERY tired when I wrote that post. It was actually meant as a question, but now that I read over it again, it sounds like a suggestion
