I've never done like any programming before, i know the basics like inserting images, text, some stuff bout variables, and making boxes etc.
I was wondering wat people thought of the 'Hands On DarkBASIC Pro - Volume 1' book. Is it a good read? will it help me get better?

Very simple answer YES, will take you form a hamgman game to astriods and show you many things that you would not have thought of doing.

Vol 2 when release will Show you how to do the 3d stuff; which might be out by the time you've worked your way through Vol 1.

You can never buy enough programming books in my opinion.

Volume 1 is very good. It makes you work through the chapters with challenging exercises. It does point out stuff that I didn't know you could do. Well worth the money.

Artaures have you tried looking in your profile section on here and looking under orders, it will tell if/when they started your order.

I'm waiting for the volume 2 to buy the 2 volumes together.

I think (if it is possible) that it can be a good thing to make them translated in french and german too, because there is no french book about dbpro.
