It's not running Vista, it's running a specially modified version of XP.

Indeed, from the screenshots I've seen of it, it does run XP

Ah! I misunderstood what you meant Joel. I thought you meant Origami would run XP off the bat, not in the future.

how can you tell? just by looks there really is no difference, especially if you use the vista styles pack on winXP.

The screenshots I've seen picture the rolling hills backdrop, which, unless that has been duplicated for Vista, generally means it uses XP. Plus its described as using Tablet XP as well. Plus Vista isn't out yet, and apparently Samsung want to start producing them very, very soon, which they wouldn't be able to do if Vista was being used (unless Microsoft had finished private & public beta testing, and was ready to release their new OS 6+ months early).

Vista might not fit on the thing. It's bigger than XP.

that's stupid, an os shouldnt take up most of your storage space, xp was too big as it is, win2k pro gave you the best value of your space IMO.

Well, going on that assumption, Windows 3.11 would be best...

3.11 ran like lighting when I took off Win 2k from my old laptop and replaced it with DOS and 3.11. I've never seen as OS so zippy before.

HAHAHA!!! oh god thats a good one.

I am fairly certain the origami's will run like they said a modified XP. Im sure the capacity is more than enough, i had XP on an old 20 gig computer, it takes up barely one gig. the origamis should have HDD's right?
