Okay,
I have to make some original Skies for my New Sci-Fi. (it may delay the release of the game a bit)
So, I figured why not make the Skybank Media I thought about long ago.
Expect a dozen or so crazy colored skies and out of this world landscapes.
The sample is pretty tame, but it gives you an idea of the seamlessness.
Feel free to use this sample in any of your games.
Just make a user folder in your skybank and place the folder you extract from the zip in it.
Have fun!

Its not bad 7/10

Did you use a terrain program, created some terrain and render it?

7/10 = 70% = C-
I thought it would have gotten 70% for having no seams. (Look at the ground transition)

Thanks
As the file name indicates it was the second try at that scene.
I know I'm lacking in texture for the ground, and the mountains as well.
This was just a basic experiment with mountain size, sun location, and atmospheric colours.
This was my first attempt to get the feel for the process.

Yes, but getting the seams right can be tricky at first, hence the second try.
Then, you have to convert the files to be FPSC compatible.
You need to have an .X file for the skybox too.
This is only the beginning of my landscapes.
I plan on making many more of these.

Here, try this one out too.
What's the score on the water experiment?

Okay,
Here's a section of another sky.
This landscape will have a variety of improved textures and custom atmospheres.
This Landscape's variations will be available as a pack.
