Well after finishing my first non-game project, I thought it was time for working on a game. Not sure in how the game will be released or where the project will end, but work is progressing well. At the moment 5 levels are done, 1 training and 4 missions.

I'm not going to bore you to death with a game story in length, but try to give you a number of screenshots. You will see original segments in the screenshots and a number of modified characters. If these will the final ones I don't know.

Game story (short version)..... Taken from the training:
As you know, we've finally started the colonization of the planet Mars. We've sent a team of experts down to the Red Planet's surface to start building a suitable habitation. The work down there has progressed very well until a couple of weeks ago.

From the few message we've been receiving from the crew, strange things have been happening. Missing Crew, Virus infested Computers and Out of Control Androids are some of the disturbing messages we've been receiving.

We were able to sent down a team to secure the facilities, but they've asked for your help to gain control over the situation. They will assist you in solving the problems.

The story will unfold while the game continues. Missions are various. From just plainly securing areas, to finding objects, defending vital facilities, rescuing captured team members, finding scientist with a secret code which you need to open doors and so on.

First pic is the title screen.

I'm not sure how it will be released, but there will be a demo for sure. I've implement a lot of original selfmade scripts, like timed doors, gathering object to open doors, using a code to open doors, collecting certain items to open a door and more. I've still got a couple of levels I want to add and then I'll decide what to do with it.

NIce textures! but if i may add a suggestion,
I think you should add more Light to it, so some areas are dark and some arent, then it would look great!

I agree, but..... it slows down the game too much, unfortunally. I've tried it at first and then took out the lights again, due to a huge drop in game speed. It's a trade off with FPSC or slow game play and nice looking lights and effects or a playable game without the good looking lights, but still acceptable looking though, imo.

I'll post some newer screenshots in a moment.

The work is progressing. I've got 6 levels done now. In the following posts you will see some ingame screenshots of level 5. This is as you can see a combined indoor/outdoor level. The buildings in this level are from the fpsc library, but all of the outdoor stuff is created by me.

As usual you start inside with Aiko giving you mission details.

Sorry, never played Unreal 2. With as usual I do mean in each mission.

Actually, it isn't black at all, it's a dark-blueish color. If you study images of Mars, you will find this kind color back also. I do like the dark on top, it gives a certain mood to the landscape and game.
