DB (DarkBASIC) is very easy to use there are some good tutorials for newcomers on a sticky thread in the newcomers forum. i used one of those tutorials for my first game pong. i think you should check it out.

Learning DB is very easy just start using what you know and then just build upon it.

My first program was



Very very simple but if you juat build upon it you can learn a lot of new coding skills and techniques.

I also made a pacman game and then a pong game just using the little knowledge of coding I had and they turned out fine.

Just play about a bit and work on getting the syntax right.
