I read The new comer FAQ's and forum guide announcement and alnost had hope for some examples for all the commands that there was based on a link there but alas most of the links in this annoncement are dead

I know there are good tutorials but for my reference it is good to see an example for a specific command. I know it sounds like I am a big complainer but I really am not.
